Shrink wrapping is used for mechanical and electrical protection of wire connections in climatically demanding environments. Shrinking is carried out with hot air at a temperature in the range of 120-200 °C or with a soft yellow flame. After shrinking, the inner diameter of the strips drops to 1/2 of the original diameter. The temperature resistance of the material after cooling is from -55 °C to +105 °C.

Technical parameters:

- inner diameter before shrinkage: 6,2 ± 0,4 mm

- wall thickness before shrinkage: 0,28 ± 0,15 mm

- internal ø after shrinkage: 2,96 ±0,3 mm

- wall thickness after shrinkage: 0.45 ±0.15 mm

- for conductors: 3.1 - 5.4 mm

- shrinkage ratio: 2:1

- colour: black

- package: 1m
