4PIN monitors for vehicle cameras

4PIN monitors display images from reversing, side-view and work cameras in cars and commercial vehicles. The range includes screens from approximately 5 to 10.1 inches with two to four inputs, dashboard or mirror-bracket mounting, and rugged versions for demanding environments. Depending on the model, features include analogue CVBS and AHD 720P, 960P or 1080P video, 12/24 V power, automatic trigger-wire switching, quad view, HDMI or DVR recording. Before choosing, compare the camera video format and resolution, PAL/NTSC, the number of inputs and the 4PIN connector pinout; an identical connector shape does not always guarantee identical wiring. Also select a suitable screen size, display resolution, mount and sunshade. Install the monitor outside the driver’s field of view, protect its power circuit with a fuse and route signal cables away from high-current wiring.
