Bluetooth and MP3 FM transmitters for cars

An FM transmitter sends music and phone calls from a smartphone or memory device to a car radio that lacks Bluetooth, without modifying the vehicle wiring. Plug it into the cigarette-lighter socket, select an unused FM frequency on the transmitter and tune the radio to the same frequency. The range includes 12/24V models with Bluetooth 5.0 or 5.3, playback from USB, SD or microSD media and, depending on the version, an AUX input, hands-free microphone or colour TFT display. Charging outputs range from basic 5V/1A USB to USB QC3.0 and USB-C rated up to 30W. Before choosing, check the socket voltage, supported memory-card format, required inputs, charging output and presence of hands-free calling. For clear audio, use a genuinely unused frequency and change it during a journey if local radio broadcasts cause interference. Configure the device only while the vehicle is stationary and position the microphone so calls do not distract the driver.
