Measuring and diagnostic instruments help locate faults, verify electrical wiring and check vehicle condition. The range includes universal and brand-specific OBDII diagnostic tools, Bluetooth adapters for mobile apps and a TPMS sensor tester/programmer. Electrical systems can be checked with voltage testers, multimeters and instruments for testing 12V batteries, starting and charging. Other devices measure radio remote-control frequencies, read RFID tags, measure temperature without contact or check dimensions accurately. When choosing vehicle diagnostics, confirm the make, model, year, supported control units and required service functions; OBDII support alone does not necessarily provide access to every vehicle system. For Bluetooth models, check compatibility with the app and phone. Perform electrical measurements only within the instrument's specified range and connect the test leads correctly.
Preparing for a repair after diagnosis? Removal tools provide access to panels and connectors, pliers help with wires and terminals and screwdrivers release the fasteners.
