Crimping pliers for electrical connectors

Connector pliers provide a firm and repeatable crimp between a contact and a wire. The range includes tools for insulated terminals, non-insulated contacts and precision pins used in Amphenol AT and Deutsch DT automotive connectors. The essential selection criteria are the contact type, crimp-jaw profile and conductor cross-section. Depending on the model, general-purpose tools cover approximately 0.25–6 mm², while AT/DT pin pliers are intended for size #16 contacts and conductors up to 1.5 mm². The correct jaw must compress the contact evenly without damaging the conductor or insulation. Strip only the specified length, select the matching jaw position and check the completed crimp with a light pull. Never use the pliers on live conductors or as a substitute for cutting pliers. For critical connections, follow the contact manufacturer specification and use the prescribed crimp profile.
