Compact dash cameras without a display

Dash cameras without a built-in display occupy very little windscreen space and use a smartphone for setup and image checking. The current model records at 2K 2560 × 1440 or Full HD 1920 × 1080, uses H.265 compression and saves MP4 video with audio. Wi-Fi and the GoLook app provide a live view, setting changes and date-and-time synchronisation. The camera supports WDR, automatic recording when power is connected, loop recording in 1-, 3- or 5-minute segments, and micro SDHC/SDXC cards up to 256GB with at least Class 10 speed. Its lens covers 120°, and the image can be rotated for windscreen or dashboard installation. Power is supplied by a 12/24V vehicle charger or 5V USB-C. Mount the camera outside the driver’s field of view, route the cable safely and never operate the app while driving. Observe local privacy rules when recording or publishing footage.
