Socket wrenches are designed to loosen seized bolts and nuts. They can also be used to unscrew damaged bolts, nuts and studs. The socket wrenches can be used to loosen right-hand threaded bolts and nuts.
The socket wrenches for damaged, machined bolts, nuts in sizes 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 19 mm have a special shape that allows the damaged bolt or nut to be wedged, thanks to which the damaged part is unscrewed.
The sockets have a 3/8" end, allowing more precise control of the unscrewing force than with a 1/2" ratchet.
