This device will serve you to ecologically drive away martens from your car, agricultural machine, garage and boat (chewing through tires and gnawing on cables and plastic parts). This device drives away and repels not only martens (martens, polecats) but also weasels. The device operates at a higher frequency of 23 kHz, so the signal is almost inaudible to the human ear. The noise (sound) emitted by the device is almost inaudible to the human ear. Every 3 seconds (intermittently for another 3 seconds), the instrument emits a very high pitched tone (23 kHz).
It shall be installed in the engine compartment or in the vehicle inlet. Care must be taken to ensure that there is as much clearance as possible in the direction of transmission and that the ultrasonic signal covers as much area as possible in the engine compartment. Ultrasound propagates in a straight line like light, meaning that behind any obstructions the tones will not be active. In EU countries, it is a general requirement that scare devices are installed so that they can only be switched on when the car engine is switched off, never while the engine is running.
