The spray gun is used for painting work. Compressed air is necessary for the proper functioning of the gun. The paint from the gun's reservoir and the compressed air fed into the gun create a mixture of paint particles and air at the gun nozzle outlet.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Use the wrench to tighten the nozzle. Check the connections of the compressed air supply system for tightness and leaks. Blow out the air supply hose before connecting it to the system. Before using the gun, make sure it has been properly cleaned and maintained. Ensure that the container is connected to the coating material so that it is properly sealed.

Adjustable spray beam width

The width and shape of the spray pattern can be changed by turning the air nozzle. The shape of the jet can be infinitely adjusted from flat to round to suit your needs. The amount of coating material fed into the air stream is adjusted by the coating material quantity control knob. On the other hand, the intensity of the coating material/air mixture is adjusted by the spray control knob. It is recommended to adjust the mixture flow to obtain the smallest possible particles of coating material, which will ensure better distribution of the coating material on the surface.

Working with the gun

When using the gun, the distance between the gun outlet and the surface to be coated must be between 10 and 15 cm. Try to keep the gun outlet perpendicular to the surface to be coated. Avoid arcing movements which would cause uneven distribution of the coating material. It is recommended to apply several thin coats instead of one thick coat.

Adjusting the air flow

Depending on the type of coating material, the amount of compressed air should be selected by adjusting the air pressure control knob.

Changing the nozzle

Be sure to replace the entire nozzle set. The kit contains the coating material nozzle, needle and air nozzle.

Needle pack

Check the needle packaging for leaks during operation. If there is significant wear, the seal should be replaced using a wrench to remove the packing assembly during a periodic inspection of the gun.

Cleaning and maintenance

When the job is complete, disconnect the gun from the compressed air system and empty the tool tank of any remaining coating material. Thoroughly clean the tank of residual coating material. Thoroughly clean the entire transport path of the coating material. Inaccurate cleaning will reduce the flux flow of the coating material. Clean the air nozzle with a brush dipped in solvent. Never immerse the entire gun in solvent. Never clean clogged holes with hard objects, as even slight internal damage can adversely affect spray pattern performance. After washing the gun, apply a small amount of lubricant to the moving parts of the seal. Tighten the nozzle of the coating material enough to prevent leaks and keep the needle moving smoothly.
