12V electronic turn signal flashers

Electronic flasher relays provide a regular turn-signal rate and allow low-current LED indicators to operate correctly. The range includes 12V versions with 2, 3 or 4 terminals for motorcycles, European vehicles and Japanese vehicles. Available options include LED-compatible models with operating ranges from very low loads up to 20 A, adjustable versions, and units for conventional filament or halogen indicators. Matching the terminal count alone is not sufficient: also verify the terminal layout and markings, supply voltage, combined current of all connected lamps, and whether the unit is intended for LED or filament bulbs. For an LED conversion, choose a flasher whose minimum load covers the low current draw of the LEDs. Before installation, compare the wiring diagram of the new part with the original flasher and disconnect the circuit from power. After connection, check the flash rate and correct operation of both directions and the hazard lights.

Relay and circuit protection components may also be needed when modifying vehicle wiring. Match the fuse holder or resettable breaker to the circuit current.
