Accessories add recording storage, connections, power and night illumination to CCTV and security systems. CCTV hard drives are available for DVR and NVR recorders, together with microSD memory cards for compatible cameras. Network installations can be completed with RJ45 connectors for Cat5e, Cat6 and shielded Cat7 cable, while analogue video systems use BNC connectors and couplers or video baluns for transmission over twisted-pair cable. The range also includes 12V and PoE power supplies, DC connectors, power splitters, passive PoE kits and infrared illuminators. Before choosing, check the supported storage capacity and format in the camera or recorder, cable type and category, conductor dimensions and the required T568A/B wiring scheme. For power accessories, verify the voltage, polarity, current and connector; do not connect passive PoE to a device until its power requirements have been confirmed.
