Antenna SWR and radio power measurement

PNI SWR-300 reflectometer for SWR and power measurement
Radio antenna measuring instruments help tune the antenna system correctly and check a radio’s transmit output. This category includes the analogue PNI SWR-300 meter for 26–30 MHz, 50 Ω impedance and power measurement in 10 and 100 W ranges. The meter connects between the radio and antenna. It can check standing wave ratio (SWR), reveal poor tuning or a fault in the antenna path and verify the output of a CB installation. Before measuring, use a suitable patch cable and connectors, observe the connection direction and selected range, and follow the product instructions. A low SWR supports efficient signal transfer and helps protect the radio’s output stage from excessive reflected power.
Measure SWR again after changing the antenna, cable or base position. Complete the installation with suitable antenna cables, connectors and magnetic bases.
