Protective pads for magnetic antenna bases

Protective pads fit between a magnetic antenna base and the vehicle body. Rubber versions help protect paint when fitting or removing the base, reduce transferred vibration and, on selected types, improve stability. The range includes circular and shaped pads from approximately 70 to 170 mm for specific PNI bases and antennas, including Extra, ML, S and UF series. Exact model and base-size compatibility is essential; an undersized or incorrectly shaped pad may leave the contact area exposed and can reduce magnetic grip. Before installation, clean and dry the paint and underside of the pad, remove any metal particles and make sure the pad lies flat. Paint protection does not replace secure antenna mounting or a check of the base before driving.
