Frequently Asked Questions

Question: My manual lists a frequency of 434MHz, will the control work?

A: Manufacturers often simplify the frequency and round it up to 434MHz, but the actual value is 433.92MHz.

Question: How do I know if my two-channel control is working at 433.92MHz?

A: Inside your remote control there is a crystal (round or oval silver component) on the circuit board that shows the frequency.

Question: My crystal only says 433?

A: It actually means 433.92MHz, it's just that the manufacturer doesn't list the whole thing for economy.

Question: How do I know if my remote has a fixed (not floating) code?

A: Fixed code remotes are programmed via DIP switches and rarely via solder bridges. If this is in your transmitter, it is a fixed code model.
