Ratchet strap with metal hooks, TÜV/GS approved, for securing heavy loads.
The ratchet is of all-metal design with a durable locking mechanism, fitted with a plastic handle for comfortable handling and operation. The 50 mm wide, 8 m long strap has a tensile strength of 5000 kg (after wrapping the load).
We recommend using plastic corners or protective sleeves when clamping the load. Without the use of protective sleeves or corners, the strength of the clamping straps is reduced and the strap wears out.
It is not compulsory to keep records of the tensioning straps, and no inspection is required, but it is recommended that they be inspected at least once a year by a properly trained and inspected person.
