The camera power isolation relay eliminates camera interference or image degradation that occurs after engine start when the camera power is connected to the reversing light. This problem occurs mainly in newer vehicles (e.g. VW Group) that have a broken bulb monitoring system.
This isolating relay will ensure that the supply voltage to the camera is separated from the reversing light circuit with bulb monitoring.
Supply voltage 12V.
Connection:
- Black wire: ground
- Green wire: +12V camera power supply
- Yellow wire: +12V from the reversing light
- red wire: switching voltage from ignition +12V
