The monitor function can be switched on or off with the button on the mirror (applies to video input 1, not to video input camera).
To mount the mirror, it is necessary to purchase a bracket for the particular model of the car in which the mirror will be installed ( DS-4.1OEM, DS-4.2OEM, etc.).
Any external source of composite video signal + camera can be connected to the monitor.

The auto-dimming function of the rear-view mirror when driving at night is used to darken the mirror surface to avoid glare from a car behind. The function is switched off when switching to the reversing camera input.
