The Eltrinex LS600 GPS car camera is equipped with a suction-type quick-release magnetic mount with power supply, following the LS400 model, which was the winner of the comparative test of the assistance service ÚAMK. The mount has a power supply, eliminating the need to constantly plug and unplug the power cable. The camera is simply snapped into the holder, the power is automatically activated and recording starts, and when the camera is disconnected from the holder, recording is stopped and the camera is switched off.
Unlike its predecessors, the LS600 is equipped with a capacitor instead of a conventional battery. This has the advantage over the battery in significantly higher resistance to temperature fluctuations (frost, high summer temperatures), thus eliminating damage to the camera's power system even when exposed to these temperatures.
The camera's suction mount is designed so that the camera can be conveniently placed even on perpendicular glass, for example on buses or trucks. Thanks to the mount's hinge, the camera can be adjusted in three axes for precise targeting. Therefore, the camera can also be placed out of position behind the rear-view mirror where the display showing GPS speed and other data would not be available to the driver.
The suction mount also allows the camera mount to be easily removed from the glass if the vehicle will be operated in countries where it is not permitted to place such devices on the glass, during vehicle inspections, etc. Another new feature is the use of composite material to increase the rigidity of the mount itself.
The camera is also equipped with a GPS receiver. It can thus display the current speed of the vehicle, monitor and warn if it is exceeded.
Thanks to the WDR technology and newly redesigned optics, the image quality and sharpness of recorded video in up to 4K resolution has been improved. The legibility of traffic signs and clarity of the traffic situation makes it easy to detect the culprit of a traffic accident or other recorded incident. The camera is also equipped with a "night vision" function, increasing the image quality in low-light situations to achieve the highest possible recording quality (e.g. twilight, tunnel passage, etc.). Of course, high quality audio recording is also available.
The Eltrinex LS600 GPS camera has a wide range of useful features. It can save the date and time in the video, both directly in the recording and in the name of the saved file. This makes videos easy to archive and search. Recording can be done in a loop. Older recordings are overwritten by newer ones in this mode, so there is no need to think about filling the card and deleting videos. Important video can be protected against overwriting at the touch of a button. The shock detection function can also be activated, and the video is then automatically protected against overwriting as soon as a shock or impact is detected (for example, if a crash occurs).
