The multimeter's clamps allow the measurement of alternating current (A) on the principle of induction. This means measuring much higher currents than conventional multimeters. The maximum diameter of the cable to be measured is 37 mm. In addition to measuring AC current, the instrument can, using conventional cables with measuring prongs, measure DC voltage, AC voltage, resistance, temperature and check the operation of diodes. Another useful feature is the buzzer, this is useful in verifying the continuity of circuits.
