These tubes are designed for making professional watertight connections in more climatically demanding environments with voltages up to 1kV. The coupling consists of a rigid compression tube with a shrink wrap, coated on the inside with hot melt adhesive. The connection is made by pressing the tube onto both ends of the conductor to be connected and then heating to 110-200 °C. The temperature resistance of the joint after cooling is from -55 °C to +105 °C.
